Patient Testimonial

Christine Baker

Miracles do happen! I should know because the fact that I’m still here is one of them. In September 2023, I arrived at El Camino Health’s emergency room in Mountain View after suffering a massive pulmonary embolism and in cardiac arrest. The ED staff worked to stabilize me for what I understand was a remarkable two+ hours, and their interventional team used state-of-the-art, lifesaving treatments to remove the pulmonary clots.
What's even more astonishing is that despite the odds, I’ve had no negative side effects from that life-altering experience. Had it not been for the amazing care and expert skills of their team, I likely would not be alive today. They worked so hard to save my life and I’m forever grateful.
