CEO Dan Woods Presents Community Annual Update to Los Altos Rotary

On March 9, El Camino Health’s Chief Executive Officer Dan Woods presented a community annual update to the Los Altos Rotary Club.

El Camino Health's Chief Executive Officer Dan Woods met with the Los Altos Rotary Club, presenting a community annual update to keep Rotary members informed about how we are connected to the community and the many services that we offer for local community members.

The Los Altos Rotary Club was chartered in 1949 and is made up of local business, government, education and community leaders. For more than 50 years, Los Altos Rotarians have volunteered thousands of hours of community and international service.

Woods provided an overview of El Camino Health's system, facilities and services, as well as highlights from our:

  • Commitment to advancing care, including technological advances such as the development of the MitraClip and the use of Ethos Adaptive Intelligence Radiation, as well as national recognition, such as being named a Top 100 Hospital and the highest-rated non-academic medical center in the Bay Area by Newsweek
  • Comprehensive healthcare services, such as the Norma Melchor Heart & Vascular Institute, the Scrivner Center for Mental Health & Addiction Services and the South Asian Heart Center
  • Community involvement and partnership, such as leaders who live locally, COVID-19 pop-up clinics, health-related sponsorships and the Community Benefit Grant Program

The Los Altos Rotary has long been supportive of El Camino Health and its multifaceted contribution to the community, and we share common goals for serving our community and improving quality of life for residents.
