Deanna Dudley
Chief Human Resources Officer
Deanna Dudley joined El Camino Health in September 2022 as the chief human resources officer (CHRO). As CHRO, Dudley will serve as a strategic business and tactical partner to El Camino Health's senior leadership team, and executive leader for the human resources team. Her areas of focus will include employee and labor relations, diversity and inclusion, organizational development, clinical education , talent management, HR systems and analytics, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, HR operations , and employee health and wellness.
Before joining El Camino Health, Dudley was vice president of human resources for the Northwest region at Kaiser Permanente. During her time at Kaiser Permanente, Dudley also served as vice president of national labor relations strategy and office of the labor management partnership. Dudley was recognized by the Portland Business Journal with the 2021 HR Leadership Award and in 2022 as Rose City's Finest: Celebrating 100 Black Leaders in Portland.
Prior to working in healthcare, Dudley worked at the Office of the President, University of California (UC), the largest public research university system in the United States. While at UC, she held several leadership positions including deputy chief of staff to the president of UC and chief of staff to the system-wide vice president, human resources.
Dudley is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Alameda Boys & Girls Club. She has an MBA in General Management from St. Mary's College of California, a JD in Litigation from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, and a BA in Rhetoric and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She is also a graduate of the Kaiser Permanente Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
