Ken King
Chief Administrative Services Officer
Ken King is the chief administrative services officer at El Camino Health. He joined the healthcare system in 1988 and has led every major campus development project since then, including the construction of the new main hospital on the Mountain View campus, which opened in 2009. He also led the construction of Taube Pavilion, home of the Scrivner Center for Mental Health and Addiction Services. It opened in 2020 and was featured in the New York Times as a model of what a modern mental healthcare facility should be. Currently, Ken oversees the renovation and expansion of the Orchard Pavilion Center for Woman and Newborns in Mountain View in a $149 million project to meet a growing need in our community and create a welcoming environment that promotes healing and wellness. The project is scheduled to wrap up by early 2026.
Prior to joining El Camino Health, Ken worked in various engineering management positions in Southern California. He is a member of the American Society of Hospital Engineers, the National Fire Protection Agency and the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation.
