El Camino Health is proud to announce the opening of the fiscal year 2024 (FY24) Community Benefit Grant Application. Our Community Benefit Grants Program has long provided financial support for safety net health clinics, school district health programs, community service agencies and other nonprofit organizations.
Every three years, we conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) in collaboration with other local health systems. Grants for FY24 will be awarded based on alignment with the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment and the five selected health needs:
- Healthcare Access & Delivery (including oral health)
- Behavioral Health (including domestic violence and trauma)
- Diabetes and Obesity
- Economic Stability (including food insecurity, housing and homelessness)
- Chronic Conditions (other than diabetes and obesity)
FY24 grant applications will be accepted beginning December 15, 2022. The deadline to submit applications is February 24, 2023, at 5 p.m. (PST). Award notifications will be sent in June 2023, for funds to be used from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
