El Camino Hospital Board Member Resigns

Mountain View, CA - January 24, 2012 - El Camino Hospital Board member Uwe Kladde is resigning from his position on the six-member appointed Hospital Board in order to focus more time and energy on his family. Mr. Kladde has been an active Board member since 2008, serving as vice-chairman since 2010. He will continue to serve as a member of the El Camino Hospital District Board.

"Uwe's tenure on the Board has spanned many significant events in El Camino Hospital's history including the planning and opening of our new Mountain View campus," says Board Chairman John Zoglin. "His commitment to his community led to his strong support for the hospital’s community benefit program. Chair of the Board’s Quality Committee and active in other quality measures, Uwe has had tremendous positive impact over these past three years on El Camino Hospital, its patients and the community."

In addition to his work on the El Camino Hospital District and Hospital Board, Mr. Kladde served on the El Camino Hospital Foundation Board of Directors as the Board representative. As he was a Registered Nurse he regularly contributed his professional background as a grounding force for the Board of Directors.

"It has been my privilege to serve on the El Camino Hospital Board of Directors, and I am pleased to be able to continue to contribute through my elected seat with my colleagues on the El Camino Hospital District Board," says Uwe Kladde. "I am looking forward to having more quality time with my family while staying connected to El Camino Hospital through my seat on the District Board."

The El Camino Hospital District Board will determine the process it will follow to fill the vacancy on the Hospital Board left by the resignation of Mr. Kladde in the coming weeks.
