Meeting the Scrivner Challenge

Scrivner Challenge - Goal Chart as of 6/15/16

To date, El Camino Hospital Foundation has received more than $600,000 for the Scrivner Challenge to secure the future of the adolescent mental health program. “El Camino Hospital provides a higher standard of mental health care than other providers,” says Michael Fitzgerald, RN, executive director of mental health and addiction services. “Moving forward we expect insurance reimbursements to decline relative to the cost of care. By creating an endowment for this center of excellence, we can ensure the hospital has the resources to provide quality mental health care to the youth and young adults of our community, regardless of inevitable changes in the health care economy.”
