A specially painted steel construction beam, signed by dozens of staff members, physicians, patients and community supporters was placed within the structure of the new behavioral health building last month. The beam carried messages of gratitude and hope, and was carefully moved by construction crews to be part of the new building. Although it will not be visible once the building is completed, it will be a permanent structural element of the new facility.
