Welcome to the El Camino Health Postpartum Unit! For the safety of our patients, visitors and staff during the respiratory illness season, we have updated our visitor guidelines. Please read the following carefully.
Postpartum Unit Visitor Guidelines
Effective November 15, 2024 through March 31, 2025
Two (2) support persons are welcome at a time (in addition to partner) during visiting hours.
Siblings of any age are welcome during visiting hours, as long as the following requirements are followed:
- Must not be experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Cough or sore throat
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache or fatigue
- Rash
- Congestion or runny nose
- New loss of taste or smell
- Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
- Must wear a mask, by order of the Santa Clara County Public Health Department.
- Must be accompanied by a non-patient guardian.
*Note that visitation by siblings under the age of 14 may be restricted at any time if the community experiences a period of high respiratory virus activity.
