There is no question that exercise is good for your body and mind, so what better time is there to take steps to increase your activity level than now?
5-Minute Tip: Park your car at the far end of the parking lot at work or the grocery store, and use the stairs instead of the elevator. These small changes will start to add up once they become habits.
15-Minute Tip: Trade off your coffee break for a 15-minute walk around the block. You can clear your head and get in some physical activity.
30-Minute Tip: Take a group fitness class. Working out with a group is much more motivating and fun, as everyone is there for the same reason – their health! Find a class that sounds interesting to you (yoga, Zumba, martial arts) and sign up.
60-Minute Tip: Plant and care for a garden. Gardening is a fun way spend time outside and get in your activity by digging, shoveling, and mulching.
