November Health Tips

November 2022 Health Tips

Take care of your mental and physical health with these quick, helpful tips.

1-Minute Tip: Take a vitamin D supplement. Less sun means less vitamin D. Take a supplement (as your doctor recommends) to bolster your immune system and health.

5-Minute Tip: Get some morning sun. Just a few minutes of exposure to early morning sun can help energize you – and maybe even help ensure a better night's sleep! Do a few quick stretches outside, or just sit next to an open window while you enjoy your morning coffee.

15-Minute Tip: Review and respond to holiday invitations. Decide what festivities and social outings are important to you and which ones you can skip, and then respond accordingly. Letting invitations pile up only adds to your stress level, so take a few minutes to deal with them once or twice a week.

30-Minute Tip: Take a power nap. Feeling tired or just a bit overwhelmed? A 30-minute nap can recharge you and help you make the most of the rest of your day. Just make sure you don't nap beyond mid-afternoon, or longer than 30 minutes – and keep to your normal bedtime that night.
