1 minute:
Grab the whole grain option next time you're at the store. Instead of white rice, grab brown. Instead of white bread, grab whole wheat or multigrain. The darker grains contain less saturated fat and more fiber than their white counterparts.
5 minutes:
Apply sunscreen before you leave the house and reduce your risk of melanoma, also known as skin cancer.
15 minutes:
Find out as much as you can about your family history. This will allow you to be aware for what you may be in store for, also helping you act in ways to prevent them.
30 minutes:
Build muscle in your own home. Use your own body weight doing activities like push-ups, squats, or lunges. They're proven to work and don't need any fancy pieces of equipment.
