Many vulnerable infants face medical risks and even life-threatening digestive conditions that can only be addressed with human milk. Donating breast milk helps babies in need get the best start in life. Carefully screened and processed donor breast milk is endorsed by the Food and Drug Administration and the American Academy of Pediatrics as the safest, most nutritious choice, as it holds all the nutrients a baby needs.
August is National Breastfeeding Month, and on Thursday, August 20th, El Camino Hospital will hold an event to raise awareness about the importance of breast milk donation at a milk bank event.
Date and Time: Thursday, August 20th, 9 – 11:30 a.m.
Location: El Camino Hospital Los Gatos, Physical Performance Institute
555 Knowles Drive, Los Gatos
This event is free and open to the community. For more information, call 408-871-7479.
