Whether it’s for a holiday celebration or a Super Bowl party, these appetizers are sure to be a hit no matter the occasion.
Herb-Infused Greek Yogurt Dip
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup mixed herbs (dill, chives, basil, etc.), chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. white balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together until blended. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, celery, cherry tomatoes, jicama, or olives. Arrange on a platter, varying colors and shapes.
Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. prosciutto
- 1 lb. asparagus
- 1 to 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Lemon zest
Instructions
- Cut off the ends of the asparagus spears, then tightly wrap a slice of prosciutto around each spear from bottom to top. Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, top with lemon zest, and serve hot.
DIY Cheese Plate
Cheeses
- 1 wedge parmesan cheese
- 6 oz manchego cheese
- 6 oz brie
- 6 oz smoked gouda
- 4 oz blue cheese
Bread
- 1 baguette, sliced and toasted
- 1 pkg crackers
Fruit, Nuts, & Sauces
- 1 bunch fresh grapes
- 1/2 cup dried apricots
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts
- 2 oz honey
- 2 oz fig jam
Instructions
- Select an assortment of cheeses, bread, fruit, nuts, and sauces from the list above (or add in your own favorites). Be sure to choose a variety of cheeses from different animals (cow’s milk, goat’s milk, etc.) and with different textures (soft, firm, and hard) and plan on providing about 4 ounces of cheese per person. Arrange the cheese on a platter, pre-slicing for your guests if you prefer. Put sauces in small bowls and add to platter. Fill in the spaces with the additional fruit, nuts, and bread.
